Workman Numismatics wants customers to be satisfied with their purchases. This Return and Refund Policy explains how returns are handled for direct website purchases made through WorkmanNumismatics.com.
Certified Coin Returns
Many items sold by Workman Numismatics are certified and slabbed by third-party grading services.
Returns may be accepted only if the item is returned in the same condition in which it was shipped.
For certified coins:
- The certified holder must not be opened.
- The certified holder must not be cracked, damaged, altered, or tampered with.
- The certification label and holder must match the item sold.
- The item must be returned with any included packaging, labels, or documentation when applicable.
Return Window
Return requests must be made within 14 days of delivery.
To request a return, contact Workman Numismatics before shipping any item back.
Non-Returnable Situations
Returns may be denied if:
- The item has been altered, damaged, opened, or tampered with.
- The certified holder has been damaged or changed.
- The returned item does not match the item originally sold.
- The return request is made after the 14-day return window.
- The item was sold as final sale or otherwise noted as non-returnable.
- The issue is based only on buyer’s remorse after the return window.
Item Descriptions and Photos
Workman Numismatics makes every effort to provide accurate descriptions and clear photos.
Certified coins are sold based on the grade and certification shown by the third-party grading service, along with the photos and written description provided in the listing.
Customers are encouraged to review all photos and listing details before purchasing.
Return Shipping
Unless the item was materially misdescribed or an error was made by Workman Numismatics, the buyer is generally responsible for return shipping.
Returned items should be packaged securely and shipped with tracking. Insurance is recommended for higher-value items.
Refunds
Refunds are typically issued after the returned item is received and inspected.
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method when possible. Processing time may vary depending on the payment processor or financial institution.
Original shipping charges may not be refundable unless the return is due to an error by Workman Numismatics or a materially misdescribed item.
Damaged or Problem Orders
If an item arrives damaged or there is a problem with the order, contact Workman Numismatics promptly. Please keep all packaging materials and provide photos if requested.
